How it works
To unlock your ability to earn these additional Loyalty Points, you’ll need to have your existing Authorized Users complete registration with your AAdvantage Business™ account. Inviting your Authorized Users is quick and easy!

If you add new Authorized Users to your card account, they’ll be automatically registered with your AAdvantage Business™ account after their first purchase.
Starting June 1, 2024, you’ll begin earning Loyalty Points on registered Authorized Users’ card purchases, accelerating your path to AAdvantage® status. You can continue to register Authorized Users at any point throughout the promotional period and their purchases will be eligible to earn this additional Loyalty Point.

You are immediately eligible for the promotion offer when Authorized Users of your Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® or other Citi® / AAdvantage® small business credit card are registered with your AAdvantage Business™ account.
Your Authorized Users become part of the promotion when they complete their registration with your AAdvantage Business™ account.
If your Authorized User was added to your credit card account before April 14, 2024, visit the travel management portal to invite them to register with your AAdvantage Business™ account. Then, follow up with your Authorized User to ensure they’ve completed their account.
If an Authorized User was added to your credit card account on or after April 14, 2024, your Authorized User is registered with your AAdvantage Business™ account once they make their first purchase with the business credit card in their name.
Yes, any new Authorized User(s) added to your business credit card account will be eligible after their first card purchase.
Additional Loyalty Points earned from this promotion will post to your personal AAdvantage® account 8-10 weeks after the Loyalty Points earned by the registered Authorized User are posted to the Authorized User’s AAdvantage® account.
Terms and conditions
- This special offer is only for select Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® or other eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® small business credit cards and is not transferable.
- To be eligible for this promotion your Authorized Users must be registered with the AAdvantage Business™ program. To be registered the Authorized User must be a traveler on your AAdvantage Business™ account who has accepted the AAdvantage Business program terms and conditions.
- The Primary cardmember will earn 1 Loyalty Point for every 1 Loyalty Point earned by registered Authorized Users on eligible purchases on the Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® or other Citi® / AAdvantage® small business credit cards in their name that post to the Authorized User AAdvantage® account between June 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024.
- If your credit card account is closed or you switch to another Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® or other Citi® / AAdvantage® small business credit cards product during the promotional period, you may no longer be eligible for this promotion.
- Any Loyalty Points earned by the Authorized User and posted to their individual AAdvantage® account before they are registered with the AAdvantage Business™ program will not qualify.
- Any Loyalty Points earned by the Authorized User and posted to their individual AAdvantage® account before June 1, 2024 will not qualify.
- Allow 8-10 weeks after the Loyalty Points are posted to the Authorized User’s AAdvantage® account for the additional Loyalty Points to post to your AAdvantage® account.
- Eligible purchases are any net purchase (a purchase less credits, returns and adjustments) by a registered Authorized User of your Citi® / AAdvantage® World Elite Mastercard® account.
- Purchases exclude balance transfers, cash advances, checks that access your credit card account, items and services returned for credit and unauthorized charges.
- Purchases also exclude interest and account fees, traveler’s checks, purchases of foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers (and similar cash-like transactions), lottery tickets, and gaming chips (and similar betting transactions).
- To receive your reward, your credit card account must be open, active and in good standing at the time of fulfillment. If your credit card account is closed for any reason, you may no longer be eligible for this offer.
- American may, at any time and without notice, change, stop or end this offer in part or in full.
